This is a follow on from my previous query about a good didgiscoping camera option which uses SD cards. I read posts on the F30 which, despite some faults and using the 'wrong' card, seemed to just what I want - so much so I nearly bought one. One consideration is that my 'main' camera (a Panasonic FZ30) isn't too good in low light in 'domestic' scenarios - something the F30 excells at. I now find that the new F40 has a dual use slot and can accomodate SD cards. Would I be right in thinking that the lens set up would be much the same as that on the F30? The extra 2M pixels would be useful, but not important. Also I assume that the top ISO of 2000 (vs 3200 in the F30) really wouldn't make a vast difference & this camera would also be VG in low light. Finally is this new camera available and, if so, has anyone used it for digiscoping? Thanks in advance,
John

Hi John,

There's a similar query about the F40 on the last page of this thread : http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?t=74373&page=5&highlight=fuji
This may (or may not) be helpful.

Cheers,

Stuart
