Well summer is almost over and I haven't seen not one hummingbird. Is there still a chance of them coming around or are they heading south already? I'm in the southern Ontario region in Canada.

I was there this June, and saw several, both at the feeders in Ojibway park, Windsor and at Rondeau feeding in flowers. I don't know when they leave.

Is it possible that you had a very late and cool spring? That
would make the flowering later? I have not found information
so far on when the ruby-throated leaves Ontario. I am currently
keeping my feeder up here in Florida through October hoping to
see a Rufous variant migrating through.

Has anyone here in Florida seen a Rufous during Fall or Winter?

I had hummers here until at least last Thursaday. I haven't seen one since then and even that was just a quick glimpse but I wouldn't be surprised if there are still a few around here. I would think migration would just be getting fairly strong in your area, EMC so I would suggest leaving your feeder for another month yet. You never know... you might get some stragglers.
