This is not a pure "digiscoping" thread so I hope you don't mind it here.
I have an old Nikon 3x Televconverter (TC 3 ED ) and I've finally been able to find some step rings to convert from 28mm to 52mm. I tested it on various digiscoping cameras yesterday for fun. On the Canon A640 it gives you an 105 - 420 mm lens (10 megs).
The attached photo is a composite of cropped images taken at full or almost full camera zoom at the best resolution of the camera.
Canon A640/Fuji F31
Nikon 8400/Olympus 7070wz
Nikon D100 (iso800) plus 18-55 mm zoom lens

No probs Neil, Quite a nice set of images. I have a Raynox 2.2 tele conv, that I can use on the Sony f717 and the A640, it realy does a good job, only draw back is it nearest focus distance is 5m, but with the use of some supplementary lenses I can get to within 1ft. I will sort out a couple. Ernie

PS I found a couple, the first was acloseup the nest was about the size of the 20cent piece, I did this for my grand daughters classroom.
The second was from 5m, both with the f717.
