Hi Markus,

If you can get any of them, try these references cited in the Atlas of European Breeding Birds:

Hope that helps,

Michael

A guide to the fairly recent situation in Spain is "El Aguila Perdicera en España; censo, reproducción y conservación. 1995. Arroyo, B., Ferreiro, E. & Garza, V. ICONA, Madrid. Available via SEO/Birdlife. See also the second Spanish atlas. Both have bibliographic links.

Markus, also, in addition to the other information supplied by Michael and Ernest, there are 12 pages dedicated to Bonelli's in Dick Forsman's "The Raptors of Europe and The Middle East" pages 404 to 415 inclusive.
