Up until Tuesday Pricerunner had Comet and Pixmania offering the F30 for £129.99. Having visited Curry's in Norwich where there were two on the shelf for £168, I then went up to Comet where I found none in store and after the sales person checked on their system there were none in stock in the region. Because the camera was still on their system they were able to print off an instore 'quote' (just ask them to print off the details that includes their price) which I duly took back up to Curry's (where they say they will match any other 'in store' price) and shafted them for the 38 quid extra that they were gonna shaft me for! It has to be an instore quote though, they wont match internet prices. Just a tip if anyone is imminently going out to purchase one.

This is one of my first shots using Zeiss 85 today, in the rain on a very grey and dreary day here in North Norfolk (Hand held)

Hi Andy,

This is interesting, on the www.digitalrev.com (Hong Kong) site the F30 is down as "Discontinued" but still available for AU$407. The replacement F31FD is selling for AU$438 but we managed to find one for my partner at the weekend here in Brisbane for AU$399.

Now can anyone tell me how to set it up for 'digiscoping'? (got some reasonable results, hand-held)

Tom
