blue tit box

just a bit of advice really.

i have blue tits nesting in my box for the second year running,

i have just made another one, i have put it up, i know it will not be used now but, will it affect the other box of confuse the blue tits?

i have put it in a different location.

If its well away from the other Craig i don,t see why it should affect the other one.

I, too, am about to put up a second box, can you advise me on where to put it?

The first is in a lilac tree in the garden which faces North but has shelter.

I was thinking of putting the new one on the back of the house wall, high up, but it would face west and I think it might be too sunny/hot, unless I can make some sort of shade/shelter.

Any thoughts?
