Somewhere in this image is a Great Northern Diver, to aid those who don't have the facilities to place a 'X', I have covered the image in a grid. The bird fits a square, all you have to do is name the square.

This will stop Woody and Joćo from covering the area in one big cross.

Top left A1_A10, down to J1_J10.

If you still like placing a mark, this will confine you to a 10x10px area.

Is it f3

Sean F
Wednesday 18th April 2007, 21:28
It would be a pretty bad photographer who, in calm conditions, couldn't get a settled bird right in the centre of shot (unless you didn't on purpose of course!), so I will try F5.

Sean, very impressive website indeed, especially as you have a 300mm, just think what you could do with a 600mm.

Dafi, no bombs, just 15" shells!

Sean F, I was probably steering the boat at the time, so my aim could have been slightly out! One clue the Diver surfaced below the boat.

Christine, you can't choose someone else’s space, remember this is battleships your playing, go again!

Joćo, glad to see that I have confined you to small space at last!

Keep going everyone!

Remember this was shot on a 35mm camera, which ratio is 2:3. The image you are viewing is square, so I had room to play with a quarter more of this image.

Good shot sue i was begining to think it was under water.

You and me both Dafi.

Hi Pe'rigrin,

Thanks for that - BUT - is it really possible to make the next any HARDER??

I thought perhaps you were going to come back on the thread to say, you'd just remembered that the little darlin had buzzed off as you took the shot!

Thanks, Sue.

Morning Sue,

I was going to post an image of the splash made of the bird diving, but some bright spark like teamsaint would question the validity of the bird being in that precise square under water.

Have a go at the Sanderling image.

Sue Wright
Thursday 3rd May 2007, 15:20
Afternoon Pe'rigin,

Who TOM, you think he'd question it???.....................Probably right!

I will have a got at the Sanderling....so long as it's not still flying!;) It's all a great bit of fun Pe'rigin, thanks.

Sue.
