had a walk up the valley from whaley bridge today and was pleased to see 2 pied flycatchers .female first then a bright male a first for me this year :hi:

saw my first wood warbler of the year on tuesday in the valley and a bold dipper

Walked up the valley today towards Buxton and onwards as far as just short of Three Shires Head. Birds of interest were, cuckoo, wheatear, stonechat, tree pipit, buzzard, kestrel, raven, red grouse, pied flycatcher, spotted flycatcher, meadow pipit, redstart, golden plover and grey wagtails.

managed to get my first photo of a ringed ouzel today on a long local walk also saw wheatear ,buzzard kestral, dipper, grey wagtail ,greater spotted woodpecker, stone chat ,curlew
