Well just had to show big mouth again!!!!
So,now back to the morning of the 15th.
Only 5 X 18m.nets up as the forecast was for more E. wind and it was just that, had to close by 11.30 as at one moment it was calm and then very strong gusts, too dangerous for the birds.
So this restricted the catch somewhat but quite an interesting morning as you will see.
New birds incl the following:
1 CHIFFCHAFF (COLLYBITA COLLYBITA)
2 BARN SWALLOWS
1 RED NECKED NIGHTJAR
1 ROBIN
1 GREAT TIT
3 BLACKCAPS
2 GARDEN WARBLERS
2 REED WARBLERS
1 GREENFINCH
1 BLUE TIT
1 SARDINIAN WARBLER
1 SHORT TOED TREECREEPER
2 TURTLE DOVES
1 GREY WAGTAIL
The rest were retraps.75% 0f the catch today
3 ROBINS
1 GARDEN WARBLER
2 BLUE TITS
1 GREAT TIT
3 LONG TAILED TITS
2 BLACKCAPS
3 SARDINIAN WARBLERS
