A bird with a 10ft (3m) wingspan which went missing from a Kent field has been found safe and well.

The 30-year-old male condor, called Tiny, flew off into a field of 6ft (2m) crops during a display at the Eagle Heights Centre, in Eynsford, on Sunday.

He was found during a helicopter search on Monday night after volunteers, firefighters and RSPCA officials had spent the day looking for him.

Does it not seem a little odd to search for a Condor in a HELICOPTER?
