Spare batteries for the 400D, can anyone put me onto good replacements, note that the original is 720mah. Is that as high as it gets?
All advice will be much appreciated.
Cheers
Robert.

I buy all my batteries from SterlingTek (http://sterlingtek.com/candigcamac.html) in the USA. They're so cheap you can buy two batteries and they're still below the level at which one needs pay VAT on them.
They do 1700 mAh batteries for the 400D at $15 each.

I bought my spares from a seller on ebay, two (including postage) was ~£10. The performance is just as good as the official Canon batteries, even after ~2 years of use. With auto review turned off, not using the built in flash and not chimping too much I can get 800-1000+ shots from a single charge.
