Nothing special to report about this Nightingale, but it seems we don't often post actual recordings here but I was told it should be possible. And you have to be pretty jaded for a Nightingale in song not to lift your spirits a bit :)
Common Nightingale Luscinia megarhynchos. Recorded using something that's pretty close to one of the entry level recording gear suggestions from the Wildlife Sound Recording Society's website (http://www.wildlife-sound.org/equipment/newcomersguide/index.html), a Sony HiMD MZ-NH700 and a Sennheiser MKE300 mic with a Rycote D190 special windgag.
