A fighter jet makes an emergency landing in Devon when its engine is struck by a bird.

The bird being the 'enemy' of course, as it 'struck' the plane and not the other way round!

Actually the jet wasn't insured either as MOD self-insures i.e. deals with claims internally (can you imagine the premiums for everything they run?)

Huh! Boy racers on the streets aren't enough. We've also got uninsured tearaways ripping around the sky! I might have known.;)
