Thanks, once again, for putting another of these links up. I have printed a copy off for Leon. (As there are no pictures I shall read it to him!)
We are meeting up tomorrow, along with some other freinds, for Paxton Pits and Fowlmere which both in Herts. We are hoping to see Turtle Doves and have been recommended these sites by posters on BF.

Saw and heard my first TDs this year. Ashdown Forest is good for them too. Good luck on finding them. (Still waiting for your report. ;) )

A good article. Just returned from a few days in Norfolk. Stone Curlews relatively easy at Weeting Heath (apart from heat haze). Quite a few Nightjars around especially around Thetford Forest. I'd almost forgotten how enigmatic the Nightjars are. Standing in a forest clearing at 11pm surrounded by the sounds and occasional sights of the local wildlife was real special.
