View Full Version : A quick binnie tip

Have you ever been out birding and then looked at, say, an insect/butterfly at close range with your binnies. That is you have focussed them right down to their minimum focussing distance. You then move on and suddenly need to check a bird in flight at a distance. You lift your binnies and everything is a blur and you have to crank the focussing wheel back out again and by the time you have done this the target has long gone.

Remedy - after looking at close range, refocus the binnies on something in the distance immediately and then you will be ready for the quick look into the distance when needed.
