Kenko Teleplus DG 1.5X

Is this teleconverter worth getting? I want to use it with a nikon d50 and 100-300mm zoom, but not if it's poor quality - not so bothered about losing autofocus.

I had some success with it on my EOS 300d and 75-300.The 1.4x pro is better though.

I agree with Mike, The 1.4 PRO is better. In fact I'd say, very good.

some converters won't work if the lens is less than F4. is the lens fast?

I bought the pro - it's very good for the price, but a bit soft in bright sunshine.
