Well, I tried to Edit this thread and completely Boll****d it up! My list is now further down the thread.
I did manage to split Harry and Jane's Lists into threads of their own.
Think I'll give up with the clever stuff a!

Well, I'm a sucker for a list, CJW, and that's pretty impressive!

Out of interest, is there anything missing from your Manx list that you should've got, or have you managed to catch up with everything?

My paltry 170 looks a bit wimpy in comparison!

The only resident that we have that's not on my Manx list is Red Grouse - I must have tried a dozen times and still not seen them. But there's been one or two others that I've dipped on (or been too lazy to go for) - Turtle Dove and King Eider spring to mind.
Just waiting for some muppet to point out the errors now.......
That's a good strategy!
Now who is going to be the first to admit to being a "muppet"???

Help! I can't open the attachment. I have tried double clicking on the Attachment Icon with no result and have clicked on the 'Lists Doc' which opens up to a blank page.

Can someone please help?
Harry Hussey your Irish list is far from "meagre". I wish I could get my Aus list into order.

I knew there had to be an explanation, CJW. It would be like visiting Britain and seeing a Honey Buzzard and not a Great Tit. Enjoy Bulgaria. I'll make up the spare bed for 2005.

PS Turtle Dove and King Eider are both on my Reykjavik patch list!

Errr . . . what's happened?

CJ's list attachment has vanished, and so has Harry's Irish list! Where are they!

Never had time to have a good look y'day (what with a Hume's Warbler to go for!), now it looks like I've missed my chance . . . :-C

Harry and Jane now have their own threads and my list is on the posting above your last one, Michael.
Sorry for the confusion.

No Black Vulture or Black-bellied Sandgrouse in Spain? In my experience, sandgrouse sightings in Extremadura were a case of being in the right place at the right time. Both species flew over once and disappeared very quickly. But Black Vulture is pretty conspicuous in Extremadura. Perhaps you didn't visit that area?

I'm going to owe you a few ticks here Edward - BV should be on there (from Majorca), but no BB-Sandgrouse.

La Serena in Extremadura is fab for Sandgrouse and bustards...and BV for that matter!

I'll second that Jane, and for Calandra Lark, Stone Curlew, Lesser Kestrel. The local villages also offered the poorest service and surliest waiters in the whole of Extremadura and there was some pretty stiff competition in that department let me tell you.

What do you reckon your best trip in the WP has been Chris?

Difficult question Ed', but Tunisia was very good. Am looking forward to Bulgaria next September.
