I may be relaxed but I'm not drunk....
I will be dropping wife and friend at Birmingham NEC at end of November for an exhibition. If I leave NEC at 9 and have to get back by say 4.30pm, can anyone recommend a site or two worth visiting for birding (with a bit of bird photography thrown in, if possible)?

Brandon Marsh just outside Coventry usually has something of interest. Lots of photographers visit the Carlton hide to snap kingfishers.
