Underwater birding aybody? What species have You observed below surface, snorkeling or scuba gear? Memories?
My list:
Anas platyrhynchos
Gavia arctica
Larus ridibundus
Mergus serrator

Meeting with Gavia was interesting. I was swimming & snorkeling in an esker lake (good visibility) with 15 Gavias on the other side of lake. They became interested in me, swimming closer (so did I), until I was close enough to see them below (some 3-4 metres). -Later I have observed, that Gavias are always curious over swimmers.
