Not going to give too many clues as that'll give it away!

Taken somewhere famous for birds, south of the equator, and tropical.

I was beginning to wonder if anyone would ever have a guess, and youve got it straight away!

The Mascarene Paradise Flycatcher.

Taken in Mauritius where it is rarer than on neighbouring Reunion, with a total population of just 100 odd pairs.

On Mauritius they suffer predation of nest from Crab-eating Macaques, mongeese and feral cats much like the other endemic birds.

I've attached a pic of the male so you can see what a lovely bird this fledgling will grow into!
