Eco-lodge Lago Coter - anybody been there? (1 Viewer)

Peter C.

...just zis guy, you know?
How are the surroundings? Access? I would be wanting to drive in from Liberia, staying a week.

(BTW, I have been to some relatively nearby sites in the past - Monteverde, Punta Leona [Carara area], Rara Avis - but never visited Guanacaste. Of course, just shifting about 10k can make a huge difference in a country like CR!)

Thanks in advance,

Peter C.

I don't know whether this reply is too late, but thought I would reply, anyway.
We drove past the turnoff to the entrance, 3 Klm further on, yesterday. At least to there you should have no problems driving. It should take about 2and a half hours from the Liberia Airport to get there.
Presently, the weather is wet and misty, cooler than usual but not colder than Canada!!

I heard two weeks ago that this place went bankrupt. At least 7 other hotels are also on the verge of bankruptcy around La Fortuna- if you go, do not hesitate to bargain!
