Advice on web cam in the rabbit hutch! (1 Viewer)

Hi

Hope I'm posting in the correct place.

I am interested in installing a web cam in the rabbit hutch to video the birth of some new rabbits.

Question is how can I achieve this safely. I believe new born rabbits cannot be exposed to light - so do I need infra red lighting.

Also I can pick up a low cost USB web cam - but is it possible to use a 15 metre long USB cable or daisy chain cables together!!

Hope someone can help - I guess the principle aint that different from putting web cams in bird boxes.

Look forward to ideas

Martin
