Gorgeous photos. I love the Painted Bunting. However, it's a shame to hide them here, as I don't think many people will see them hidden in this section. Why don't you post them in the Gallery - I see you only have 3 photos in there so far.

I love Uvalde and especially love going to Neal's Lodges (in Concan) to bird! You got some great shots, but I think your first bird is a Blue Grosbeak. Adult Indigo's don't have the rusty brown on the wings & the bill is more like a grosbeak in terms of shape & coloring. Your 2nd bird almost made me think Lazuli Bunting, now I am wondering if your 2nd shot is a 1st year male Indigo with some leucistic tendencies. I could be wrong & if I am - apologies all around!!!
