I will be in each of the above for a day each in early May 2010. I'm looking for either advice on local birding spots or a local guide who is recommended.
Any help appreciated as this will be my first brief time in Africa

There are few sites described on the following link: http://www.spanishnature.com/morocco-birds.html

I will get back to you with the contact details for a guide (Khalid) for the marsh and lagoon area around Merja Zerga, well worth a visit.

Hope this helpful.

Peter

Yeah, do the Merdja Zerga, it's a couple of hours drive, but well worth it. Hassan Dalil will take you to the Marsh Owl site, and there's loads of other stuff there too.
