Gait Barrows (1 Viewer)

Hi Geoff,
Many thanks for the reply, I did,nt know about the permit iwas hoping to go Monday but i think i will just visit Whitbarrow. Thanks.

There are a number of public footpaths that run through Gaitbarrows so access is possible without a permit.

Nobody checks for permits, it is the same for most Natural England reserves in this area. It is something to do with the legal postion when they were set up in the way back when by the NCC.
