I had a little backlash on the coarse focussing knob on my scope. I took it to the Leica stand at the birdfair where the technical man tightened things up for me. However, at home while trying to set up a digiscoping adaptor I found I was unable to focus on Goldfinches approximately 9m away. I think the minimum focussing distance is 3.95m. Is it possible things got moved before it was tightened up? It's the zoom eyepiece but I don't think it effects focussing distance.
