Cyprus wildflowers for ID (1 Viewer)

In Cyprus over Easter there were masses of wildflowers everywhere. Some were ones I know, cyclamen, field poppies, what I think is a form of gladiola... others I don't know. If anyone can help with any of these I'd be grateful--just to satisfy my curiosity.
Thanks!
Ken

Hi Ken,

#2 is Gladiolus illyricus or a related species
#4 is something in the Brassicaceae
#5 (red) is Papaver rhoeas or a related species
#5 (yellow) is something in the Asteraceae

Sorry, don't know on #1 and #3, or the others to species.

Michael

Hi Ken,

1. is an Anagallis species, maybe A. foemina
2. is a Gladiolus species (could it be G. segetum?)
3. is something from the family Convolvulaceae
4. Something in the Brassicaceae, maybe genus Arabis
5. A Papaver and a Chrysanthemum

hope that helps,

Joern
