Bee eaters in Sharm el Sheikh (1 Viewer)

I visited Egypt in late september/early october 2001 and saw european bee-eater more or less everywhere, including Sharm. The books I have indicate you are right in assuming birds migrating through rather than staying.

Thanks, Niels.

I didn't see them before, today was the first time.
They must have been hiding from me :p

I have my cam with me now every time I go out.
So many new passerbys :)

Saw only one Blue-cheeked one ONCE *sniff* - but at least I was lucky enough ;)

The Europ. Bee-eaters are still around, but numbers are decreasing.
