Obwalden area. December (1 Viewer)

Hi

I'll be in the Obwalden area for ten days or so just before Christmas. Will be staying in Sarnen.

I hope to see some Alpine species like Alpine accentor, Snowfinch, Alpine Chough, Ptarmigan and Wallcreeper. Is Lammergeier a possibility anywhere in this area?
Also any Woodpeckers or Owls would be great. It will be my first visit there so anything which we don't have in Ireland (a very long list) would be a bonus.

I won't have my own car there so anywhere close to Sarnen or anywhere I could persuade my girlfriend to drive to (not too far away) would be great.
Any advice is much appreciated.

Merci vielmal,
Tom
