Hello,
Taken today, is this a female orange tip or a dappled white? I've had a look at leps.com but still not sure.
I have seen a male orange tip this week.

Best wishes
Jen :hippy:

I saw an eastern dappled white in Cyprus a couple of weeks ago and it didn't look all that similar to this one, so I too would go with orangetip, Jen.

PS have you looked at Guy Padfield's excellent site:
http://www.guypadfield.com/
Guy has an index covering many European species. If you look at Eastern dapple white (which is said to be indistinguishable from Western in the field) you'll see that the black tip has a rather different pattern.
In the past I've emailed Guy and helpful feedback.
