Not the best photo ever but the camera has it's limitations, but not as many as me!!
Taken this evening near Accony in Co. Mayo.
Saw him fly in and from various spots until he popped up in front of me.
I didn't realise they call when in flight!!

:t: Agreed. I liked your shot of him in flight too...like "X the ball" in the newspapers years ago (for those over 45 who remember it). Cracking bird, I saw my first on Tory last year, although I heard them in the ´70´s when I was a kid/teenager.

Thanks all for the kind remarks.

The little blighter has tired of being in the limelight and has gone all shy! He's probably moved to another location in the near area. I need to take a wider walk around.
