I know it from 'Reserva Yaguaroundi' near the town of San Pedro.

Helmeted Woodpecker in Brazil

Best place in Brazil, if that's of interest, is undoubtedly Parque Estadual Intervales in southern São Paulo state, although there are other places with recent records, particularly in Santa Catarina.

Hi there

I saw a Helmeted Woodpecker about 20 days ago, and one of our birdwatching guide saw it 2 days ago (August 17Th)
