Are there any sites to see Cirl Bunting within easy reach of the A30/M5 these days? Hopefully we'll have a bit of time after twitching the American Bittern (that'll bugger up our chances of seeing it now) on Friday. I know there are various winter feeding programmes.

We used to be able to see them quite easily around the old Exminster Hospital and the lanes behind but all my recent visits have ended in failure.

Has anyone been to the Broadsands site recently? Any birds left? I have a chance to go this Sat AM, but am wondering as this is advertised as a winter site, if there are any left.
