I found this plume in the garden. After looking at Mike Wall's site I reckon it must be White Plume Moth (Pterophorus pentadactyla), but I wonder if there are any other views?
It was in my garden on the night of 20th June.

It certainly looks like P.pentadactyla to me Ken, possibly the most frequently found of all the 'Plumes'. Have you any Convolvulous growing nearby?

Have we got bindweed? It's almost a case of 'spot the parts of the garden where we haven't got bindweed' ;)
Thanks,
Ken
