I purchased a Leica APO Televid 77 scope some years ago, second hand and to be honest, I have been disappointed when compared to friends Swaro's.
I suspect that the thing needs a professional service, including a bloody good clean!!
Is this the sort of thing that you can get done locally? Or will it have to go back to Leica?

Had my bins serviced at In Focus a couple of years ago, I'm sure they provide the same for scopes.....Joe:t:

Hi Paul,

Try Tony Kay at Kay Optical, not far from you either. All Leica repairs now go to Germany following the closure of Milton Keynes Service Centre.

Cheers,

John.
