Found this spider in my garden in Bedfordshire. What caught my eye was it's size, about 5cm across. Any ID?

Araneus diadematus. Orb web spider, often called the garden spider. Lovely shots.

Nice pics def. Wasn't this the spider that made you cry and you had to get your wife to take the pics because you were shaking too much?
