caracara sites from Sarasota (1 Viewer)

Just a quick query- starting from Sarasota, is the best place to look for Crested Caracara still the Sugar Bowl Rd Clay Gully Rd loop E of Myakka? Any up to date information would be much appreciated.
 
I don't know that area, but I see Caracara on the west side of Lake Okeechobee - especially around the dump just outside of Moore Haven (on 78 just north of 27). If you're ever in that area, give it a try.
