It is Spring in ND (1 Viewer)

Not many here from ND. We have had a long hard winter, and now, in
the past week or so, spring migration is in full force. It seems the large
Canada geese arrive first, and they are local. Many raptors, hawks of
all kinds, and eagles, the bald, and golden, they are looking for anything
to feed on, as in winter killed deer, etc.

Now the large flocks of black and white geese, making their way to the
summer feeding grounds up further north. They are stopping here to feed
on any farm fields for any spilled grain, to get strength for the next flight.

Wonderful time of year, I just love the noise of the geese, and also
ducks, getting ready to nest.
