I am going to Crete on 6 August, not the best time I know but its a landmark birthday amd wedding anniversary and Mrs Kelly wanted to catch some sun and archeaology. I will be staying in Bali which is west of Heraklion and wondered if anyone had any information about what birds I might expect to see and where to go?

I am hoping for Lammergeier, Griffon Vulture, Orphean, Ruppell's and Subalpine Warblers, Black-eared Wheatear, Rock Bunting, Tawny Pipit and Eleonora's Falcon.

Any information will be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

David
