Hello all,

I am going to spend a weeks holiday in Sainte-Marguerite-de-Carrouges, Orne in July.

It is a family holiday but will get a fair bit of birding time and I will hope to make the most of it.

Does anyone have any good birding site within an hour or so drive of this area?

I'd love to catch up with some species that are scare in England, Bluethroat, Red-Backed Shrike, Melodious/Icterine Warblers, Woodpeckers etc?

Also does anyone know of any wetland/marsh in the area?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Greg
