The boggy hills of Glenwherry in Co Antrim are not the first place one thinks of as vitally important to threatened birds such as curlew, snipe and lapwing - but that is exactly what they are. In fact these birds do so well on these hills that they are home to more breeding pairs of curlew than all of Donegal.
