Could not help but notice a Yellow Legged Herring Gull around Richmoud Street in Liverpool. It was a full adult and its back did not appear dark enough to be a Yellow-legged Gull. Any explanations .....Caspian or just a Herring Gull in some sort of moult?

4 Buzzards just outside of Liverpool on m62 ...might have been jostling for territory.

Cant they all be Lesser-Black Backed and Herring again? It is just such a hard subject. People must have very keen eyes to pick out sometimes very minute differences.
