hello to everyone

Hi everyone, my first posting.
going up to scotland on thursday,staying near fort william.does anyone know if there are any good birding spots nearby ? ;)

Hi Davross,

Welcome to BF. Here are a few suggestions.

Ardnamurchan peninsula - great seawatching from lighthouse plus good chance of whales

Ferry over to mull - both species of eagle

Any number of great valleys to drive down - my favourite is the road out to Loch Hourn along the edge of Loch Quoich

Ptarmigan on the tops.

That shouldkeep you quiet for a bit
