Rucksacks for tripod, scope, camera etc. (1 Viewer)

I wonder if someone can help with this. Some days ago whilst surfing for general information I came accross a site offering rucksacks tailor made for digiscoping. Unfortunately I forgot to earmark the site and now I cannot find it.

The rucksack was vertically divided into three main sections with the tripod housed at the centre and the rest of the gear in pockets either side.

Does anyone know who sells them please, or any other similarly useful backpack?

Will pick up any answers to this on Monday.

Thanks, Barry Boswell

I haven't come across this one, but it's probably worth looking at some of the larger backpacks made by lowepro. They're not cheap but very well made.

Seeing your post on rucksacks got me curious, so I looked in the Warehouse Express link at the top of the pages here. If you go to Warehouse Express, then to the scope section, a menu will open at the left side and scroll to find rucksacks. One that sounds like what you discribed is listed under the Heritage line. I cant direct link to the photo/info.

Wish I could get one like that here in Canada! (does anyone know if I can?)
After walking about 5km yesterday with (my) gear slung over his shoulder, I'm sure my husband would appreciate something like this!

Thanks Bev. That was exactly what I was looking for. I just could not remember where I had seen it!!

Barry,it is quite a cumbersome carry-all.Ie,the one from Warehouse Express.I tried it,not to actually carry, but I stowed the tripod and scope in the various sections,so that I could stand it up in my trike carrier. So,I suggest if you are considering purchasing the item from Warehouse Express, you do ensure that you can return it if you are not happy with it.I now use the lightweight Jessopd tripod bags, for both scope and tripod.

Thank you Christine. I will check this out.
