Digital Color Problems (1 Viewer)

I've been scanning forums on digital cameras and reading owner reviews on other links. Theres a color quality problem with the higher mp cameras. My husbands camera is an olympus 3040, it suffers from what they call a purple fring. I have an olympus C750 zoom, and thank fully it's color is very nice and consistent. The 3040s color is horribly inconsistent going from nice rich color to dull washed, there were no adjustments made between photos, no light changes. On the other reviews I've read apparently Canon has a few issues also. Live and Learn.
