1st Venture Into Macro (1 Viewer)

Just obtained a Canon 100MM macro lens found this guy in the garden,so this is my 1st attempt.
Coupled with the Canon 7D

Wish they were all slow movers Martin,would make this Macro game a lot easier. Still will keep at it just obtained a Canon speedlight 430ex 2 this is changed days to the old type flash guns,giving my age away now.

Here's one of my own attempts at close-up (not strictly macro). As you say, keep at it.

Macro just opens a whole new world of possibilities. You can have hours of enjoyment and never the confines of ones own yard or neighborhood. Get cracking with that new lens! Do you have a decent flash to work with your macro setup?
 
Hi noticed you have a great set of photos,yes have a Canon EX430 mk2 especially for some of those dull dreary days.
