Pindos National Park info? (1 Viewer)

In Northern Greece I used "Birdwatching in Northern Greece" form Steve Mills.

In the book is a short chapter Pindos National Park ( Valia Kalda ).
Katara Pass should be good for raptor migration.
Stream at road to Krania has Dipper, Grey Wagtail and Common Sandpiper.
Forests has 8 kind of woodpeckers.
Perivoli road is good for Lanner, Golden Eagle, Goshawk, Black Storck and maybe Bonellis Eagle.
Beyond Perivoli in the alpine area is Horned Lark, Northern Wheatear, Tawny Pipit, Alpine Accentor and maybe Wallcreeper.

When You will go there ?

I was middle October in Northern Greece. In the Rhodopes the forest are very colorful.

In the book is written "The roads are rough and after heavy or before middle of May maybe impassable because of torrents where the road fords."
