Hi

We are looking at a 16 day itinerary covering excluding the flights;

3 days Cape Town - Cape NP, Kirstenbosch, Table mnt, Bolders, where else shouldn't be missed ?
4/5 days garden route - which are the must see reserves/sites en route ?
2 days private reserve eg Addo/Shamwari? - Which is a good reserve to stay at for a couple of days ? We have seen the big five many times but need a jeep mammal and bird fix after 5 days of principally scenery !
3 days Tswalu reserve, Kalahari for the Aadvark/meercats and hopefully some good birds

Any advice gratefully received.

thanks
Tony

Even for a trip of that length, I'd strongly suggest getting the book Southern African Birdfinder. Short of reading numerous trip reports, that will give you all you need to know about sites to visit along your route.
