accommodation north of Tierra del Fuego (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks,

does anybody out there know of any accommodation in the area around Punta Delgada/Pali Aike National Park/Primera Angostura Ferry. I'm searching all sorts of sites and can find nothing on the mainland between Punta Arenas and Pali Aike.

A few years ago we covered the area north of Punta Arenas.We stayed at the Estancia Rio Verde which is almost due north of Punta and on the west coast as well as staying in Punta itself.We also crossed to Tierra del Fuego by the short ferry east of Punta,but there was no accommodation there or anywhere else along the coast.There might be somewhere over the border in Argentina but we didn't go that far.

I can find a few places mentioned on Chilean travel sites but when you try putting the actual places into a search, nothing else comes up. Looks like I might just have to buy a sleeping bag and sleep in the car.

I was in that area in 2009. Quite short south of the ferry in Terra del Fuego was a type of place renting rooms, but I am not sure we actually used them or not.
