Always learning
Inspired by the recent Autumnwatch series I'm planning a trip to Arne on 12th November.

High up on my wishlist so so speak are Spoonbils and Avocets. I understand that Avocets are almost certain from the Middlebere Lake hide. Is that also the case for the Spoonbills or do they move with the tide?

Thanks

You can see Spoonbills from Shipstal hide and yes they are sometime up in the middlebere channel I have seen the feeding and moving up the channel viewing from the viewing screen on coombe heath.
Shipstal is a good bet though they just might be a sleep out on the sandbank.
